Matilda

Matilda is a happy, spunky, and playful girl with a big personality! She loves car rides, cuddles, and snuggles, and is progressing well with her training, especially her recall. Matilda enjoys going on hikes and is learning to follow her person rather than the other dogs, always returning when called. She also does well on a leash during walks. Initially shy, Matilda has blossomed in her foster home and is now a confident and loving member of a dog pack, showing she is 100% good with other dogs after proper introductions. She thoroughly enjoys playing and running with her canine companions.

Ideal Home

A home where Matilda can continue to gain confidence and enjoy playtime with other dogs would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Matilda will receive a full medical assessment before leaving Cortez Rescue to ensure she remains in optimum health.

Training & Support

Matilda's recall training is progressing well, and she is learning to follow her person during hikes. Continued positive reinforcement will help her thrive.
