Chihuahua - Rocco

Rocco is a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix who has blossomed into a total love bug after his initial shyness. This smart little guy adores spending time with his person and is doing wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home. He's a happy dog who's great on potty training, enjoys napping on the couch, playing in the backyard, and, of course, treats! Rocco sleeps quietly in his crate at night, walks well on a leash, and is even starting to engage with toys. He weighs 11 pounds.

Ideal Home

Rocco would love a home with a fenced yard or an active family committed to several daily walks. While he's accustomed to other dogs, he might be content as an only pet if he receives ample attention. He needs a little time and space to feel secure with new people, but once he does, he's a wonderful companion.

Ongoing Health

Rocco is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Rocco is working on engaging with toys and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement. He needs patience and understanding as he adjusts to new people, but he is definitely worth the effort.
