Scotty

Scotty is a smart and affectionate 1-year-old male Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who loves to play with other dogs and toys. He's quickly adapted to his foster home, learning the ropes from the other dogs and letting his humans know when he needs to go outside. Scotty is house and crate trained, moderately vocal, and adores attention. He's a quick learner, though he's discovered that stealing shoes gets him noticed, albeit not in a good way! Scotty makes friends easily and will alert you if someone is at the door.

Ideal Home

Scotty would thrive in an active home with another dog to play with and older children. He prefers a human who is home most of the time, as he may vocalize his displeasure if left alone for long periods. He is not recommended for apartment living due to his tendency to vocalize when left alone. He is not safe to live with smaller children due to his tendency to steal items.

Scotty is neutered.

Training & Support

Scotty is house and crate trained and moderately vocal. He's learning not to steal shoes. He may vocalize if left alone, so a home where he isn't left alone for extended periods is ideal.
