Rootie

I'm Rootie, an 8-year-old Black Labrador Retriever mix with a big heart. My past has been a bit rough; I was rescued from a shelter years ago and then found at a homeless encampment in Southern California. Now that I'm safe, I'm a little shy in new surroundings, but I'm eager to trust again. I dream of a soft bed and loving people to call my own. With a little patience, I'll blossom and show you how loyal and affectionate I can be.

Rootie would thrive in a home that understands he may take some time to come out of his shell. A calm and loving environment will help him feel secure and loved.

Ongoing Health

Rootie is currently in good health and has been spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Rootie is house-trained. Patience and gentle guidance will be key to helping him feel comfortable and confident in his new home.
