Meet Juice (also known as Joey by his foster family)! This handsome 4-year-old, 56 lb Black Mouth Cur mix is a true gem with eyes that will melt your heart. Juice is a sweet and charming boy who has experienced a lot, and he's now dreaming of a peaceful and loving forever home where he can finally relax and be cherished. He absolutely adores his toys and is incredibly affectionate, often resting his head and paw on his favorite people as his special way of showing love. While he can be a bit shy and cautious around new faces, slow and gentle introductions help him build trust, and once he does, his loyalty knows no bounds.
Ideal Home
Juice would thrive in a quiet home with patient, soft-spoken adults who understand that healing takes time. He needs a person who can make him feel safe, loved, and chosen. He is not cat-friendly and requires a cat-free environment. He would be happiest as the only dog in the home to soak up all the attention.
Ongoing Health
Juice has shown some food aggression with other dogs, but with a stable routine, he's made great progress. He eats separately in his crate. He may still guard high-value treats, which can be managed by respecting his boundaries.
Training & Support
Juice pulls on the leash when excited and is working on this. He responds best to patience and kindness; harsh corrections can make him fearful. He is always crated when left alone due to his love for chewing and has had some potty accidents. He sleeps well in his crate at night. While he does great in the car, he might need a little help getting in.

Transporation
Juice is currently in foster care. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
