Kelso

Kelso’s story is heartbreaking, but he’s proven to be an incredibly resilient and loving dog. He was adopted as a puppy, and we thought he’d found his forever home, but he was tragically abandoned at a veterinary clinic just before Christmas. Thankfully, we were able to bring him back into our care.

Despite his past, Kelso is a truly wonderful companion. He has successfully lived with children, other dogs, and even chickens! He’s house-trained, kennel-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a genuinely easygoing nature. Kelso loves everyone he meets, knows his basic commands, and is an absolute joy to have around. He enjoys walks, lounging indoors or outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his people. Kelso isn't demanding; he simply longs for a family who will cherish him and never let him go again.

Ideal Home

Kelso has thrived in a home with children and other animals, including chickens. He simply needs a loving family to give him the stable, permanent home he deserves.

Ongoing Health

Kelso is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. He is in good health and ready for his forever.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks well on a leash. He also knows his basic commands. He’s a well-behaved boy looking for a family to continue showering him with love and stability.
