Meet Missy, an 8-month-old, 26 lb Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! Missy came to us from an overcrowded shelter and is now dreaming of a patient family to help her blossom. While she can be a bit shy when first meeting new people or encountering new situations, her true playful and affectionate personality shines through once she feels safe and secure. She forms deep bonds with her people and absolutely adores spending time with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Missy is looking for a quieter home environment, ideally a standalone house with a securely fenced yard, located a little outside the city. This will allow her to settle in at her own pace and continue building her confidence. She would also thrive with another playful, confident, and well-adjusted dog in the home to be her companion and positive role model.

Ongoing Health

Missy is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Missy is a smart and eager learner. She will do best with adopters committed to continuing her training, keeping her mentally stimulated with engaging activities, and providing plenty of daily exercise and adventures. With the right guidance and structure, she is sure to become an incredible companion.
