Fritz is the distinguished older gentleman of the dog world. At 11 years young, he's a seasoned professional at this whole "being a good boy" thing. He's housebroken, generally well-mannered, and knows exactly how to behave in a home. His goals at this point in life are simple: snacks, a good romp in the yard, and a prime sofa location for his daily allotment of petting. But don't mistake Fritz for a lazy senior; he's the kind of guy who'd be signed up for every activity at the 55+ community. Fritz loves people, greeting everyone with the warmth of a seasoned host. If you're looking for an affectionate, predictable companion who settles in like he's always been there, Fritz is your guy. While he has the watchfulness of a Great Pyrenees, his day-to-day personality leans more towards a golden retriever, enjoying human company and activity.

Ideal Home

Fritz will do best in a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can patrol his neighborhood duties. He needs people to spend time with and enough activity to keep his curious mind entertained. This is not an apartment dog. Fritz also needs to be the only dog in the home and can not live with cats.
