Shrek JuM

Shrek is a sweet, OGRE-looking boy with a heart of gold and a past that's seen its share of struggles. Once a stray, he was rescued after neighbors noticed him wandering with a badly healed broken leg. Our rescue stepped in, and thankfully, his leg no longer causes him pain thanks to an amputation. Now, Shrek is a healthy and happy tripod, ready to find his forever family. He's affectionate, friendly, curious, and playful, and despite his "OGRE" appearance, he has a loving nature.

Ideal Home

Shrek would thrive in a home that will cherish him for all his days. He's described as good with dogs and good with children, so a family environment would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Shrek has had an amputation of his back leg due to a prior break that healed improperly. He is now pain-free and considered healthy.

Training & Support

Shrek is house-trained and crate-trained. He also knows basic commands and is described as a couch potato and playful.
