Joey is believed to be a Golden Labrador Retriever mix, born around June 1, 2025, and currently weighs about 30 lbs. He's not expected to get any bigger, with a tall and slender build perfect for snuggling. He's a happy, playful, and incredibly snuggly pup with a wonderfully calm personality for his age. Joey enjoys the outdoors, car rides, and mini-adventures, and would be thrilled to have a fully fenced backyard to roam and sunbathe in. He's great with other dogs of all personalities and energy levels, showing a gentle play style and respect for senior pups. He'd also be happy as the only pet in the home. Joey is doing wonderfully with potty training and is crate trained, but consistency and treats will help him continue to succeed. He's a super smart pup who's eager to please!

Joey is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and is microchipped. He also receives a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.
Training & Support
Joey is crate trained and doing great with potty training. Consistency, structure, and treats will be key to his continued success. He is a smart, eager-to-please pup!

Transporation
Joey is located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
