Rune

Rune means intention, resolution, and love in Irish, and she might just be the perfect companion to bring these qualities into your life! This gorgeous girl is approximately 50lbs and we don't expect her to get much bigger. Her coloration and curly coat suggest she may be a Golden Retriever and Shepherd mix. Rune is calm, quiet, goofy, and incredibly expressive with her eyebrows and head tilts. She loves her people and is always up for a good couch snuggle after a day of adventures. Her soft coat is low maintenance, requiring just a few brushings a week, and her shedding is medium. She's a healthy eater who loves crunchy fruits and veggies like apples, carrots, and bell peppers, and her food motivation makes her a dream to train!

Ideal Home

A fully fenced yard is a non-negotiable requirement, as it's her special space. She also requires a pre-adoption meet and greet with all humans and dogs in her new home.

Ongoing Health

Rune is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Rune is kennel trained and potty trained. She knows sit, down with hand signals, back up, stay, and leave it. She shows promising recall and heel, and is currently working on down/off. She can be a bit of a food thief from her foster brother, so she's either fed separately or practices her "stay" while others eat. She is also working on leash training. Adopters who enroll her in further training at Zoom Room Plymouth will receive preferential treatment.
