Sandy radiates innocence and sweetness. She has the type of eyes that look into your soul and instantly make you melt. Sandy loves affection, is quiet in nature, and she is so gentle. She does take some time to warm up to new people, but once she does, you will find yourself a loyal best friend. She shows her affection by subtly leaning in or taking a teeny tiny step closer to her person for love. Sandy is the definition of love and she has so much of it she wants to share. Ideal Home
Sandy has a calm demeanor and does amazing with all dogs. She has a gentle play style and naturally matches the energy of her canine companions, whether they are rambunctious or relaxed. Having another dog in the home is a must and it helps build her confidence, so she'll do best in a home with at least one other dog. Sandy is a calm and gentle pup, but sudden movements can make her a bit skittish, so she'd do best in a home with older, respectful kids who can give her the space she needs to feel secure. A secure, fenced yard is a must to ensure she has a safe space to explore as she settles into her new life.
Ongoing Health
Sandy is fully vetted, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained. She absolutely lives for her daily walks, where her gentle and easy-going nature truly shines. She loves getting out to explore, strolling calmly on a leash and remaining completely non-reactive to squirrels, bunnies, and other distractions. Walks with her are so easy and a joy! She also does great on short car rides, and loves heading out to walk around the local lake. Sandy is incredibly quiet and rarely barks, making her the perfect companion for a peaceful home. She loves affection, but on her own terms. She'll let you know when she wants attention with slow movements, and enjoys chin scratches, head rubs, and chest massages. Her ideal family will be patient and willing to give her the time she needs to adjust, while also providing a stable and supportive environment to help her continue building her confidence.
