Meet Evie, a 2-year-old Pyr with a heart of gold, just waiting for the right person to show her the ropes! Evie is a bit of a shy girl who needs a patient and understanding adopter to help her feel comfortable and confident. She's still learning to trust the world around her, but with a little time and space, her sweet and loving personality is sure to shine through.

Ideal Home

Evie would thrive in a calm and quiet home where she can decompress at her own pace. A confident, chill resident dog would be a wonderful companion for her, helping her come out of her shell. While she’s okay with cats, she’s not a fan of young children due to their sometimes loud and active nature. Older children who will be respectful of her need for space and trust would be suitable. A fenced yard is a must for Evie, as it will provide her with a safe space to explore. She walks well on a leash, but a securely fenced area is preferred unless you live in a very quiet neighborhood.

Evie is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Evie appears to be housetrained. Patience and a gentle approach will be key to helping her build confidence and trust. Giving her space and allowing her to initiate interactions will be the best way to support her journey.
