About Blue - Take My Lead Dog

Velvety Blue is a big lug of a sweetheart who is 4 years old. He's a smart boy and proudly shows off his repertoire of cued behaviors, including sit, paw, and "gimme ten." Blue has lived with dogs before and would not be a good match for a home with cats.

Ideal Home

Blue would do best in a home where he can relax and settle in. He has lived with dogs in the past, but cats are not a good fit for him.

Ongoing Health

Blue is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

When exiting his kennel, Blue can be overly enthusiastic when greeting people. This is something we are working on, and we believe it will improve once he is in a more relaxed home environment. Blue comes with a "Take My Lead" grant for up to $500 in FREE private training once adopted to help with this. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, Blue is a big softie who loves belly rubs!
