Jimmy

Meet Jimmy! This sweet, lovable one-year-old Shepherd mix is a champion tall-wagger with an adorable face and an endearing look. At about 23 pounds, Jimmy is a bundle of puppy playfulness who is also adjusting wonderfully to home living. He's happy to meet people of all ages and dogs of all sizes. Jimmy can entertain himself with his toys when you're busy, and he loves to cuddle during quiet times. He's a smart boy who will benefit from continued basic training to help him thrive.

Jimmy was found as a stray in rural North Carolina and was scared at an overcapacity shelter before being rescued and brought to the DC area. Now, he's eager to find a forever family that will give him the love and attention he deserves. He'd love to curl up with you on a summer evening and is looking for a family to be an excellent new member of.

Ongoing Health

Dogs receive routine veterinary care and spay or neuter surgery prior to adoption.

Training & Support

As with any young dog, Jimmy will need to continue with some basic training to thrive.

• An important step in the process is a vet check to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, and regularly examined by your vet.
• The adoption fee for Jimmy is $425.
