Meet Gigi!
Gigi is a spirited one-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd mix with a striking red and black coat. She's a vibrant young girl with an affectionate heart and a mind eager to learn! Gigi thrives on routine, adventure, and companionship. Every morning, she's ready for breakfast before embarking on her favorite ritual – a refreshing walk in the park where she sniffs everything and showcases her elegant shepherd trot. Later in the day, she loves playing ball with the same enthusiasm as if discovering the game for the first time, her tail wagging like a metronome of pure joy! She currently weighs 50 pounds and will become a large, strong beauty. Gigi has been working on her obedience training and already knows commands like sit, wait, and leave it. With her high intelligence and desire to please, her new family will find that she thrives on positive reinforcement and consistent guidance to build her confidence around new people and dogs. This affectionate pup is still working on crate training and managing her separation anxiety, so she needs a family who can offer structure, patience, and lots of love to help her feel secure when left alone. Because she bonds so closely with her person, her loyalty and protective instincts shine through in the sweetest ways – from leaning her body into yours for cuddles to watching over you with gentle eyes. Gigi is currently attending doggy day camp and continues to learn new skills and is socializing with other pups. She has had some successful playdates with other dogs, although she can be shy at first. She’s never been around children, but her guardian believes she could do well with older kids who can handle her exuberant energy.
