Meet Nova!
Nova is a magnificent 1-year-old Cane Corso mix who weighs about 123 pounds and has a heart as big as he is. He's a fantastic blend of adventure seeker and snuggle enthusiast, always ready for whatever you have planned. Nova is a social butterfly, confidently approaching new people and cherishing his time with his favorite humans. Whether you're out exploring, enjoying a chew toy in the yard, or just relaxing, Nova wants to be by your side.
Ideal Home
Nova will flourish in a home that can provide ample exercise, consistent training, and engaging mental stimulation. He absolutely loves being outdoors and would thrive with a securely fenced yard where he can roam and enjoy the fresh air. Due to his impressive size and strength, he's not suited for apartment living or homes where he would be left crated for extended periods without sufficient exercise. Nova has shown a positive interest in other dogs, and while he's walked and played well with a neutral dog, any potential canine siblings should be carefully evaluated. Given his size and his affectionate habit of leaning into people, a home with children aged 13 and older would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Nova is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been tested for heartworm and Lyme disease. He is also current on his heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
Training & Support
Nova is fully house-trained and crate-trained, with no accidents in his foster home. He sleeps soundly in his crate at night. While he might be a little hesitant to enter his crate during the day, he settles in quickly and readily goes in at bedtime. Nova is still a young, growing giant breed and will benefit from continued training and positive reinforcement.

Transporation
Nova is located in the Twin Cities area and can be transported within a 150-mile radius. We will consider transport up to 250 miles with foster agreement and staff approval.
