About Bear

Bear is a sweet and handsome boy who was surrendered due to his owner's health. It's clear he was so loved! He's about 4.5 years old, over 100 pounds, and knows commands like sit, come, and heel. He's also a good listener when it comes to 'stay'. Bear is great on the leash, loves playing ball, is very friendly, and would make a wonderful family dog. He does best with female dogs but is also content being the only dog in the home.

Ideal Home

Bear would thrive in a home that appreciates his friendly nature and enjoys active play like fetching a ball. He's a great family dog and is happy to be the sole canine companion or to live with female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Bear is current on all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will have a health exam and certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear knows several commands and is good on the leash. He's a good listener, especially when he feels like it! Continued positive reinforcement will help him continue to be a well-behaved companion.
