Meet Andy: Your Dog’s New Best Friend (and Yours Too!)

Andy is a 2-year-old Retriever mix, weighing around 50-55 lbs. He was abandoned in Texas with his siblings but was rescued and has since blossomed into a loving and resilient dog. Andy is incredibly dog-friendly and truly thrives when he has other pups to play with, making another dog in the home a must for his ideal family. He's a gentleman at home, being house-trained and crate-trained. While he may be a bit shy initially, his affectionate personality shines through once he feels comfortable. Andy enjoys routine, companionship, and being part of the family's activities, whether it's walks, playtime, or just relaxing nearby. He walks well on leash, takes treats gently, and is eager to please.

Ideal Home

Andy’s ideal home is a calm, loving environment that includes another dog to be his companion. People who appreciate a loyal and kindhearted dog will be a great fit. A yard is a bonus. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.

Andy is currently fostered in MA, but is available for out-of-state adoption. Transportation to his forever home can be coordinated.
