Meet Puppy Princess, a delightful 8-week-old female Retriever mix with an estimated weight of 10.1 lbs as of July 11, 2026. She's a sweet and playful pup who has been enjoying her puppyhood with her littermates in Puerto Rico. Now, she's dreaming of finding her forever home in the DC area! Puppy Princess is eager to explore her new surroundings, go on fun walks, make new doggie friends, and show off her intelligence in a puppy obedience class.
Ideal Home
Puppy Princess is looking for a home where she'll have plenty of opportunities to play with toys, burn off her zoomies, and receive plenty of snuggles. She'd love to make doggie friends and explore her neighborhood on walks. Adopters with an 8-hour workday will need to make arrangements to ensure she gets multiple potty breaks and exercise throughout the day.
Ongoing Health
Puppy Princess has received age-appropriate vaccines but may not be fully vaccinated yet. It is the adopter's responsibility to ensure she receives her remaining puppy vaccines on schedule. Until she is fully vaccinated, she will be at a greater risk for illness. She has not yet been spayed or neutered, and this must be completed no later than November 11, 2026, as per the adoption contract. A spay/neuter deposit is available if you'd like us to cover this procedure at one of our partner vets.
Training & Support
Puppy Princess will need to work on her house training and attend obedience classes to grow into a well-socialized and well-behaved dog.
