Hi, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me the ropes. I can be shy and timid at first because I'm not sure what's expected of me in a new situation, but I warm up quickly! My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. I am missing part of my tail, but TRUST me, I'm not missing any personality! I'm from Texas and it's pretty chilly up here, so I love to snuggle up in a blanket next to my people. I sleep in my kennel at night and I'm very quiet. I'm working on potty training and doing well with frequent potty breaks. I will need someone to continue to teach me to be polite and how to walk on a leash. I love treats, and I want to do the right thing – can you teach me? As a puppy, I love to play with toys, especially bones and things I can chew on! My foster mom throws balls for me, but I make her go get them. She tells me it's not polite to jump, but I'm still learning. I've been around people of all ages, even those smaller than me, and I love everyone! I do jump up to say hi and let you know I'm here and would love a pet. I've been around a cat and I'm a little scared of him, but he likes me, so I think we'll be friends. I've met some big dogs since I've been here, and I learn from them and take their lead. I know when they want to stop playing, and I go find one of my toys instead. I like to run and chase them around the yard, and they like to play with me, too. They chase the ball that my foster mom throws, but I don't see the point, so I just wait until they get back. I would love to meet someone who can see past my timidness and see that I am an amazing pup! They would continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. In return, I will give kisses, love, and endless laughs. Pinky promise!

Someone who can see past my timidness and teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. I love everyone and have been around people of all ages, including children. I've also met a cat and some big dogs, and while I'm a little scared of the cat, I think we'll become friends. I learn well from other dogs.

I'm still working on potty training and learning to walk politely on a leash. I also need to learn not to jump up when I greet people. I respond well to treats and want to do the right thing, so I just need someone to teach me. I enjoy chewing on toys.
