Rocky

Rocky is a handsome 75 lb Rottweiler Mix with an estimated birthday of February 7, 2012. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. Rocky is a loyal companion who can be a bit of a challenge, but with the right home, he can truly shine! He has a lot of love to give and enjoys having his space to roam.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home that understands his needs and can provide him with ample space. He is not good with children, cats, or small dogs. He also needs a very secure home, as he has a tendency to try to escape. Rocky is not comfortable in new places or with new people, so a stable environment is key. Due to his fear of water, homes with minimal water features or running water would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is on a special diet and requires regular grooming. He is afraid of water and can become agitated by it, sometimes dumping out his water dish.

Training & Support

Rocky has a habit of jumping and can exhibit food aggression and possessiveness over toys and people. He may also have an overprotective drive towards certain individuals. He can be vocal and destructive if confined to a small space. Rocky is not good on a leash, despite training efforts, and continues to have issues with house training and marking. He would benefit from continued training and patience.
