Tessa is a sweet girl who blossomed beautifully after being found emaciated as a stray. She's a mellow companion who enjoys a quiet household and has been spayed and vaccinated.

Ideal Home

Tessa would thrive in a quiet home. While she's okay with other dogs, she can be a bit territorial if they invade her space, so she's not crazy about being part of a large pack. We think she might not be the best fit for homes with young children.

Ongoing Health

Tessa is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing pre-heartworm treatment with doxycycline. This treatment will be provided at no cost to her adopter.

Training & Support

Tessa is noted to be house-trained and is generally a mellow companion.
