Chevy Teddy is an absolute perfection of a pup! He's a medium-sized Lab mix, approximately 9 months old and weighing about 37 lbs, with a sweet, mellow personality that's sure to make you laugh. While some might call him a little lazy, we know he's just the most chill, unbothered prince! He's got a forever puppy-dog face with massive feet, all in a ridiculously cute package. Chevy's energy level is incredibly mellow for his age; he's not bouncing off the walls like many pups his age. He's relaxed, easygoing, and mature, though he still enjoys playful moments and will happily lean into a couch potato lifestyle. He's dog-friendly and has a gentle, submissive playstyle, getting along perfectly with all types of dogs. He's also been respectful of cats. Chevy is already well-behaved with wonderful house manners, working on leash skills, and knows basic commands like "sit." He's eager to please, smart, and enjoys learning. He's also crate and appears to be potty trained, likely just needing a little guidance in a new home.
Ideal Home
Chevy would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and lounge. He's happy with a good walk, playtime, or puzzle toys, but is equally content being your couch potato companion for cozy movie nights and lazy Sundays. He would do best with a dog that enjoys gentle play, knows when to take breaks, and can be a confident friend for him to learn from. While a doggy sibling would be great, he would also be happy as your one and only.

Chevy Teddy is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Transporation
Chevy Teddy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track his journey in real time and receive photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
