Papi Chulo De La Calle is a quiet gentleman with good looks and a confident air. He's about 3 years old and likely an American Pit Bull Terrier mix, though as a rescue, his exact breed and age are our best guess. Papi is a well-mannered, medium-energy boy with excellent dog social skills, lovely house manners, and an easygoing nature. He's not overly busy or demanding, preferring to observe and sniff rather than be the center of attention. He enjoys companionship but doesn't require constant entertainment, making him a wonderfully easy dog to live with. Papi is crate trained, trustworthy in the home, rides beautifully in the car, and walks nicely on leash. When meeting new people, he takes a moment to assess them before warming up, revealing his sweet and easygoing personality.
Ideal Home
Papi would love a home with a yard to stretch his legs. He can happily live with other respectful dogs but would do best in a home without cats.

Papi is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
Papi is well-behaved and generous with others. He is crate trained and walks nicely on leash.

Transportation
Papi is currently located in Texas but can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
