Benson

Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet boy with a heart of gold! Benson had a rough start, being found hit by a car in Texas. Thankfully, he received a leg amputation and has since learned that humans can be wonderful, especially with treats and a comfy place to rest. He's a true observer, happy to be in the same room with you, keeping an eye on things without needing constant attention. Benson gets along famously with other dogs and is completely unfazed by cats. He's a dream to travel with, is perfectly behaved at vet visits, and is happily potty trained.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home. He'd do best with children over 12 who understand how to give dogs their space. Loud, boisterous environments would be overwhelming for him. A home with minimal stairs is preferred to help keep him comfortable long-term.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod, having undergone a leg amputation. He navigates well on three legs and is a lower-energy dog.

Training & Support

Benson is a well-behaved boy, potty trained and good during car rides and vet visits. His preference is a peaceful environment over high-energy adventures.
