Button is approximately 9 months old and is ready to be your tiny shadow with floppy ears! He's a professional snuggler, gentle kiss distributor, squeaky toy enthusiast, and an affectionate sidekick who believes everyone was put on earth to love him. He's the definition of sweet, wrapped in a hilariously adorable puppy package. Button is confident with people, incredibly affectionate, and settles into connection almost immediately. He approaches new human experiences with enthusiasm, always seeking to make new best friends. He loves attention and has that wonderful Velcro-dog quality, staying close to his person without being demanding. And let's not forget his ears – one spotted, one solid, both impossibly floppy and bouncing with every step!
Ideal Home
Button would thrive in a home that can help him continue building confidence as he grows. He would likely do well in a variety of homes, including apartments, as long as he receives continued socialization, structure, playtime, and love. He would appreciate canine friends who are kind, socially appropriate, and not overly pushy. He also interacted very sweetly with children, approaching gently for kisses and snuggles. He met cats respectfully during testing, though slow introductions with dog-savvy cats are recommended.

Training & Support
Button approaches new situations with calm acceptance and recovers quickly from anything mildly worrying. When unsure, he tends to freeze briefly rather than react with aggression, and he is easily redirected and reassured. He showed excellent tolerance during handling exercises. He has a balanced energy level, enjoying play and exploration but settling calmly after exercise. He has never barked during his time with us and seems content with affection and toys.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
