Mesa

Hi, I'm Mesa! I'm a playful pup with adorable white mitten paws, floppy ears, and a fluffy tail. When I get excited, I love to hop around like a bunny and sometimes get the zoomies, racing around the house! I came all the way from New Mexico to find my forever home. My mom was a pitbull mix and my dad was a boxer. I'm doing great with potty training and use the bells on the door to let my foster parents know when I need to go out. I'm working on enjoying my kennel time with fun games, and I sleep in mine at night in my foster parents' bedroom. I've already mastered "sit" and am learning "stay," "place," "come," and "down." I'm also practicing recall, impulse control, and focus, and I'm motivated by tasty treats and fun toys! I live with a 4-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy with special needs, and a 14-year-old girl who loves to snuggle with me. I haven't met any cats yet. I also have three doggy siblings: a big, couch-potato male Pitbull, a senior female Pitbull who prefers I don't get in her face, and a medium female Pitbull mix who loves to play with me, even when I get a little wild! I can be a bit dominant when I'm scared but am submissive when I feel comfortable. I love walks with my friends and playing tag!

Ideal Home

I'd love a big yard to run and play in, with other doggy siblings, kids, and lots of toys!

I'm working on "stay," "place," "come," and "down," as well as recall, impulse control, and focus. I'm also getting used to my kennel, but I love playing games and sleeping in it at night.
