Luther is a sweet, silly, 1-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who's bursting with love and ready to keep you smiling! With his bouncy, floppy ears and playful spirit, he's eager to find a forever home that will appreciate both his energetic zoomies and his snuggle sessions. He arrived at his foster home in Houston, Texas, as a stray and has shown himself to be an affectionate and curious boy.
Ideal Home
Luther would thrive in an active home that can provide him with regular exercise and continued guidance. While a backyard would be a bonus for his zoomies, daily walks and playtime are also perfect for him. He's adaptable and would be happy in an apartment or house. He doesn't require another dog in the home, but if you don't have canine companions, we'll want to discuss how you plan to socialize him.
Ongoing Health
Luther is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He has no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Luther is house-trained and hasn't had any accidents since arriving in his foster home. He sleeps well in his crate and settles within a few minutes, even when left alone for short periods. He's still learning that not everything is a chew toy, so he's not ready to be left loose in the house unsupervised yet. While he can be a bit barky when seeing other dogs on leash, he walks beautifully alongside a canine companion, and this is something that can continue to improve with training. He has shown no resource guarding issues with food or toys.

Transporation
Luther is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transport to an adopter is included in the adoption donation and is available once approved. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport.
