Groot is a delightfully goofy and self-appointed household official. He's a 45-pound bundle of energy who sees himself as the Head of the Welcome Committee and Assistant Manager of your life. He shows up for every task, from breakfast to mail checks, with an earnest dedication that's utterly charming. Groot is a fantastic blend of backyard explorer, quality control specialist, and morale officer, all wrapped up in a package with the most wonderfully enormous ears. He's incredibly attuned to his surroundings and will often look at you with a knowing gaze, as if to say he's got everything under control.
Ideal Home
Groot absolutely thrives with canine companionship and would be happiest in a home with another playful dog. He loves to wrestle, explore, and nap with his furry friends. We recommend a home with children 10 years and older to ensure the best fit for both Groot and the family.
Ongoing Health
Groot is a healthy and happy boy.
Training & Support
Groot is a well-mannered dog who is fully house-trained and crate-trained. He already knows commands such as sit, lay down, give paw, "go eat," "go outside," and "go for a walk." He is a quick learner and responds very well to praise, always eager to please his people. He has a sweet nature, is playful without being chaotic, and is funny without even trying. He has a knack for bringing little gifts, like his toys, to you just because he thought you should have them.
