Meet little Miss Midna! This adorable, goofy girl is around 2 years old and has all the hallmarks of a Black Lab mix – the happy tail, the zoomies, the toy obsession, and that wonderful "OMG HI I LOVE YOU" energy. Midna wakes up every day excited to simply exist, greeting the world with a bouncy, silly, and affectionate spirit. She’s a true sweetheart who loves attention and will happily accept any compliments about being the prettiest girl in the universe.
Midna’s absolute favorite thing is a good booty scratch, so much so that she has a signature move! When you hit just the right spot, her back end slowly lowers into a funny little squat, and if you're really lucky, the tiny dramatic happy kicks will come out. She also carries her toys around like prized possessions, happily chomp-chomp-squeaking her way through the house. If you’re looking for a personal emotional support mascot, Midna is your girl! She gets bursts of happy zoomies that end in dramatic flops, and she’s a massive velcro dog who wants to be involved in all your daily activities. While she can get a little jumpy when excited, it’s just her overflowing enthusiasm!
Ideal Home
Midna would thrive in a home with a nice yard where she can zoom around. Apartment living is likely not ideal for this active girl who enjoys having space to play. She has not officially been around children, but we can kid-test her. Older children would likely be the best fit to avoid any accidental tumbles from her enthusiastic greetings. Cats are a definite no for Midna, as she is just a little too interested in them.

Midna is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
