Lego

Meet Lego! He's a 2.5-year-old Cane Corso with a heart of gold and a spirit of resilience. Lego is a medium-energy boy who becomes incredibly affectionate and engaging once he feels comfortable. He absolutely loves treats, soaking up the sun, and receiving attention. He's already housebroken, leash trained, knows basic obedience, and is a pro with dog doors.

Ideal Home

Lego would do best in a home with older children (12+) who have experience with giant breeds. He can potentially live with female dogs, but introductions must be slow and supervised.

Ongoing Health

Lego is a tripod due to an amateur amputation of his rear left leg. This has resulted in arthritis in his hips and spine. He requires lifelong pain medication and joint supplements. While he is mobile now, he will likely need a wheelchair for support and mobility as he ages. The Bullpen has already provided a wheelchair and trained him on its use; this will go with him to his forever home. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Lego is well-trained in basic obedience and house manners. His new family will need to manage his ongoing health needs and be prepared for his potential future mobility challenges.

Transportation

Lego is located at The Bullpen Way Station & Sanctuary. We adopt nationwide, but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting.
