Loki (Neutered) (Photos March 2024)

Loki is a handsome 2-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix with striking blue eyes, a black-and-white coat, and an adorable face. He was originally adopted as a puppy but returned to the shelter in the Fall of 2023. Loki is a big boy, weighing around 105 lbs, and is full of playful energy. He can be an "overgrown puppy" who doesn't always know his own strength. Loki has been neutered and is ready to find his forever home. He is currently in a foster home, experiencing a home environment while he waits for his perfect match.

Ideal Home

Loki would thrive in a home where he can be the "only child" as he is not good with other dogs or cats. He would likely be okay with older children who can handle his enthusiastic play style. An experienced handler would be ideal for Loki, given his strength and exuberance on leash.

Training & Support

Loki is very strong on leash and can jump, especially when excited. He needs an experienced handler who can help him manage his strength and exuberance. While initially not getting along with other dogs in a foster situation, he has shown progress with slow introductions.
