Ricky

Ricky is a sweet, goofy boy who is about 5 months old and loves to initiate play with his siblings. He has a lot of energy and enjoys running and playing outside. Ricky is good with other dogs, but can be a bit overbearing if they aren't interested in playing. He will sometimes clack his teeth at other dogs, but not aggressively, and he does well with slow introductions with a calm handler. Ricky is not yet confident on leash but is learning. He still has some nervous puppy energy and doesn't always take cues when other dogs are done playing. On the plus side, Ricky has a happy personality, enjoys pets, and likes to be brushed. He is crate trained and food motivated. He will often tire himself out through play, which makes him more receptive to training. Ricky also enjoys bringing back balls and toys to be thrown again.

Ideal Home

Ricky would do best in a home that can provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor activity and play. He needs a patient handler who can help him build confidence on the leash and teach him to read social cues from other dogs.

Ricky is neutered and up to date on his vaccines.

Training & Support

Ricky is crate trained and food motivated, which are great assets for training! He can be a bit overbearing with play and doesn't always take cues from other dogs, so continued guidance on polite play and leash confidence will be beneficial.
