Meet Betsy Blue, a wiggly, talkative, piglet-sounding sweetheart who's about two years old. We believe she's a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix, and with her striking one blue and one brown eye, floppy ears, and gorgeous coloring, she's as stunning as she is silly. Betsy can be a little shy at first with new people, offering a gentle "drive-by bump" to test the waters before sharing her full, joyful, and downright hilarious personality. When she gets excited, she sounds like a piglet and might even jump for joy! Once you're in her inner circle, you'll be met with enthusiastic wags, wiggles, and the most loving gaze.
Ideal Home
Betsy would thrive in a quieter home where she can gain confidence and learn to decompress. She'd do best with older children who can respect her space and allow her to approach them on her own terms.

Betsy is a healthy girl and has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Betsy is an active girl who loves her walks and is a dream on the leash. She's a toy enthusiast, especially with small plush cat toys, and a huge foodie who is motivated by treats, making her easy to train. She picks up new commands quickly and enjoys learning. While shy at first with other dogs, she blossoms into a playful companion once she feels safe. She has also done well with cats, especially dog-savvy ones.

Transporation
Betsy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
