Bella

Bella is a sweet girl, about 3 years old, who found herself here after an owner surrender. She came to us with another dog, Gordon, but it seems she was a bit of a bully when it came to food, though they don't need to be placed together. Both dogs were a little thin when they arrived, and we suspect this behavior will improve as she settles in and realizes there's plenty of food for everyone. Bella is definitely a confident lady who likes to be in charge!

Ideal Home

Bella would do best in a home where she can be the queen of her castle, especially when it comes to meal times.

Ongoing Health

Bella was a bit thin upon intake, but we believe with consistent, ample food, she will regain a healthy weight.

Training & Support

While Bella's food-related bullying is likely situational, patience and consistent positive reinforcement will be key as she adjusts to her new environment and understands her food security.
