Meet Zeke! This handsome 3-year-old American Akita is a true gentleman who requires a thoughtful approach. He's not one for instant gratification and prefers his space initially. Building trust with Zeke is key, and his food motivation makes him a great candidate for training through positive reinforcement like feeding and daily walks.

Zeke and Zoey were unfortunately dumped by backyard breeders and found themselves in a North Carolina kill shelter. We believe in Zeke's potential to be a loving and protective companion for the right person.

Ideal Home

Zeke would thrive in a home with an experienced Akita owner who understands and respects his breed's needs. Patience and a willingness to earn his trust are essential.

Zeke will be fully vetted before he leaves our care.

Training & Support

Zeke is food-motivated, which will be a great asset in his training. Respecting his personal space, especially early on, is important for building a strong bond.

Transporation
