About Beso Kissy Kissy Sweetheart
Beso is the kind of dog who becomes your best friend. She's not the dog who's going to throw herself into every stranger's lap, but she's friendly, accepting, and settles in beautifully once she feels comfortable. She forms deep bonds with her people and loves being included in everyday life. Once she knows you're hers, Beso is incredibly affectionate. She sleeps in bed with her foster family, happily soaks up cuddles, and is content to spend an evening curled up beside you on the couch. Her name means "kiss" in Spanish, and it couldn't suit her better.
Beso currently lives in a foster home with numerous other dogs and has done exceptionally well. Her foster family regularly cares for large numbers of dogs, sometimes more than 19 at a time, and Beso has proven she can thrive in a busy, social environment. She especially loves playing with puppies and can often be found wrestling, playing tag, or engaging in a playful game of "keep away" with a favorite bone or toy. She gets along well with nearly every dog she meets, though she may not be the best match for a very dominant female dog. She's also cat tolerant. When introduced to Biggy, the resident cat, she was curious but respectful and happily shared her space. Beso has some wonderfully charming quirks. She loves carrying stuffed animals around the yard, particularly toys that happen to match her own chocolate coloring. Her current prized possession is a Kong Snuzzle Reindeer that she proudly takes outside with her, although she's still working on remembering to bring it back inside. She enjoys splashing around in a baby pool, playing with her dog friends, riding in the car, and exploring new places. She's also known for her hilarious zoomies, where she tucks her back legs so far underneath herself that it almost looks like she's running on her front paws alone. Beso is a good car rider, highly food motivated, and eager to be with her people. She walks reasonably well on leash and responds nicely to gentle guidance. Because she loves treats, continued training should be both enjoyable and rewarding. We believe she could thrive in a home with a yard or in an active apartment lifestyle that provides regular exercise and enrichment. What Beso wants most is simple: a family to call her own. She would love a home where she can be included in daily life, whether that's joining you on outings, tagging along for car rides, playing with canine friends, or snuggling up at the end of the day. In return, you'll get a loyal companion with a playful spirit, a heart full of love, and a collection of stuffed animals scattered around your house and yard. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate dog who will happily be your sidekick through life's adventures and quiet moments alike, Beso may be the perfect match.
