Beyonce

Beyonce, a 3-year-old female Husky/Lab/Catahoula mix weighing 37 pounds, is a sweet, loyal, and loving girl who is a true "Heinz 57" with a heart full of affection to give. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Beyonce is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX, and is learning to trust and thrive with the help of her canine siblings. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and ready to embark on her new life with a loving family.

Ideal Home

Beyonce would thrive in a home with at least one friendly resident dog to continue to help her build confidence and learn the ropes. A fenced yard would be ideal for her moderate activity level, where she can enjoy daily playtime and occasional zoomies. She is looking for a patient and understanding family, ideally female-led, as she is particularly wary of men due to past experiences. A quieter, more predictable household will help her feel safe and confident. While she has done okay with children, she isn't especially playful with them and takes time to warm up to new people.

Beyonce is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She has no other ongoing health concerns mentioned.

Training & Support

Beyonce is fully potty trained and does not require crate training. She is great when left to free roam and is good about sharing her food, toys, and treats. She walks best on leash when accompanied by another dog. She is shy when meeting new people, especially men, and will need time and patience to build trust.
