Moonpie is believed to be approximately 1 year old and weighs 34 lbs. As with any rescue dog, breed and age cannot be guaranteed.

Training & Support

Moonpie is a smart, treat-motivated girl who already knows basic commands like "sit." She is easy to walk on a leash, crate trained, and potty trained. Her quiet nature and good house manners make her a great companion for those who work from home, and she's also up for adventure.

Adoption fee: $1200, which includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, and the cost of transport).
Additional perks for adopters include behavioral assessments, discounts on Embark DNA tests, 30 days of pet insurance with Trupanion, a free private online dog training session with GoodPup, discounts on in-person dog training through Rover Training, discounts on fresh dog food subscriptions, coupons for Petco, and discounts on pet first aid and hygiene solutions.
Discounts on heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer are also available.

Transport is available nationwide with a USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
