Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman is a 11-month-old, 50 lb, neutered male Pitbull mix with the kindest eyes, sweetest face, and adorable speckle markings on his chest. He was born in his foster home in Houston and is expected to be a large adult once fully grown. Morgan is a happy boy with a gentle nature who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He may be cautious at first but warms up quickly, becoming affectionate, social, and eager for love. He enjoys playing with his siblings, appreciates a calm environment, and has a tender temperament that makes him lovable.

Ideal Home

Morgan gets along beautifully with other dogs and enjoys the comfort of canine friends. He hasn't been around children yet, but we expect he will do well with kids who understand how to respect a dog’s boundaries. We have no history with cats. We are looking for a home where someone is home more often than away, as puppies thrive with time, structure, and lots of companionship.

Training & Support

Morgan is progressing well with potty training and is settling into the routine of home life. He has been introduced to a crate. He is not yet leash trained, so his new family should be ready to guide him gently as he learns about walks, harnesses, and exploring the world. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he’ll grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion.

Transporation

Morgan is being fostered in Houston and can transport to the city listed on his profile once an adopter has completed the screening process, virtual home visit, and reference checks. Transports run every few weeks.
