Meet Flora Mae, an 8-year-old, 16-pound terrier mix who is the definition of a built-in best friend! After being rescued from a euthanasia list, Flora has blossomed beautifully in her foster home and is now eagerly awaiting a calm, loving forever family. She forms deep bonds and is a truly loyal companion, happiest when she's curled up by your side or gently following you from room to room. Flora isn't a "busy, on-the-go" kind of dog; she's your steady, affectionate shadow, ready to make your home feel warmer just by her presence.
Ideal Home
Flora would thrive in a quiet household, ideally with a retiree or someone who works from home. She's looking for a calm environment where she can be close to her people. She is best suited for a home with no young children and no other dogs, as she enjoys being the sole focus of attention and can become jealous.
Ongoing Health
Flora is up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. She has been spayed.
Training & Support
Flora is fully house-trained with a consistent routine and patience. While she loves lounging, she still has a playful spark! She can be vocal when separated from her people, simply seeking reassurance. She would do best in a home where she isn't left alone for long stretches. With stability and love, she truly relaxes and flourishes.
