Rosie

Rosie is an approximately 65-lb, 2-3 year old spayed female German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! She's eager to bond with her new family and has a special talent for adoring belly rubs. Rosie is already healthy, microchipped, and up-to-date on core vaccinations. She has a history of living harmoniously with other dogs of various sizes, and it’s clear she thrives with canine companionship. Rosie is motivated by treats and attention, and she walks well on a leash with a little guidance. While she has spent most of her life outdoors, Rosie dreams of a home where she can be inside and outside with her people. She was rescued from the streets by a wonderful man named Richard Shadle, who dedicated his life to saving dogs. Sadly, Richard passed away, and Rosie is now the last of his beloved companions needing a home. By opening your heart to Rosie, you'll not only honor Richard's legacy of compassion but also gain a devoted and loving friend.

Rosie does best with a canine friend and is likely to experience separation anxiety if left alone. We are unsure how she would do with cats.
