Deputy Dawgs: Dottie (CP)

We believe Dottie to be a strong Dutch Shepherd mix, and those ears are a dead giveaway! Her nine pups inherited them too, and they've all found their forever homes. Now it's Dottie's turn to find her special family. When Dottie first arrived, she was quite shy and scared of everything and everyone, often hiding in her dog house even to eat. But with a little love and patience, she's blossomed! She absolutely LOVES other dogs and now happily plays in the yard, policing the area, and goes in and out of the house. She also crates very well and walks nicely on a leash. Dottie is a sweet girl, still a little shy, but she truly enjoys being petted and receiving affection.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a loving and active family. Due to her initial shyness, she'll do best with slow introductions to new people, but she has never shown any aggression.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Dottie is house-trained and crates well. She walks on a leash. She'll do best with slow introductions to new people as she adjusts.
