Stormy

Stormy is a lovely young pup with a sweet disposition. She may take a minute to warm up to new people, but once she does, she melts right in for affection and will come back to you again and again for reassurance and cuddles. She is a gentle soul who just needs a bit more socialization to flourish. She was born March 2, 2025, and is a mix of sheepdog, black lab, and German shepherd. Stormy is ball-obsessed and brings it back, is great in the car, and good with handling all over. She did great at her recent vet visit and is not reactive on leash. She knows "sit" and is good with other dogs. She is currently 61 lbs.

Ideal Home

Stormy would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can enjoy outdoor playtime. An adult-only home with experienced owners is recommended, as she is still learning to socialize and has not spent time with children.

Ongoing Health

Stormy is up to date on her vaccines, has been microchipped, and is spayed. She is negative for heartworm and tick-borne diseases.

Training & Support

Stormy has some prey drive, particularly towards squirrels, and can jump up when excited. She will require continued training and socialization. She is ball and food-driven, which can help with training. An adopter needs to provide plenty of exercise and outdoor playtime to keep her happy and healthy.
