Meet Kalena, a spirited 5-year-old hound-mastiff mix who embodies the perfect blend of tomboy energy and sweet affection. She's a fearless adventurer, always ready to dive into excitement, whether it's playing in the mud or zooming around. But after a day of fun, Kalena is also a cuddly companion with a heart of gold. She's brave, loud, and endlessly entertaining, making her a unique and lovable mix of wild child and devoted friend. Kalena would also love to be adopted with her brother, Meka, though it's not a requirement.

Kalena would love a home that can keep up with her active lifestyle and is ready for endless fun, laughter, and love.

Ongoing Health

All vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention, and spay/neuter, has been completed.

Training & Support

Kalena is a rescue dog and will require continued training efforts and understanding. She is working on developing her skills, including leash training and basic commands, and is well on her way to becoming the best dog she can be.

Transporation

Kalena is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our dogs are transported in comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated care. You can follow your dog's journey through a private Facebook Event page. The adoption coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location.
