Gizmo

Gizmo is a charming little Yorkshire Terrier, approximately 1 year old and weighing about 5 lbs. He’s a sweet, snuggly, and outgoing pup who enjoys quiet companionship. Gizmo came to us from another shelter and is looking for his forever home.

Ideal Home

Gizmo would be happy in almost any home, including apartments, as long as his grooming needs are met. He does not require a fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

Gizmo is a low-shed, hypoallergenic-type dog. He will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.

Training & Support

We always recommend that new adopters work on potty training and house manners with any pet, as behaviors can change in a new environment.

Application Details:

Applications start by contacting us through Wags!

• Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.
• You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.
• Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.
• Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).
• We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.
• Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.

Transporation

Gizmo is located at our Warren, MI location. Transportation may be available to approved adopters within a 100-mile radius of our shelter.
