Meet Peter — Your Future Adventure Buddy

Peter is a stunning young German Shepherd–Husky mix with a splash of Terrier in his personality. He’s 3 years old, large, and sports a short, soft white-and-cream coat. Born in March 2023, he came into rescue after being found in a field with his mom and siblings—so he’s been a survivor from day one, with a huge heart to show for it. He’s affectionate, sweet, and happiest when he’s near his people or playing with his dog friends. He does great with kids and gets along well with dogs his own size.

Ideal Home

Peter’s perfect family will have a fully fenced yard at least 6 feet tall (required), no cats in the home, and enjoy an affectionate, playful dog who loves adventure.

Ongoing Health

Peter is neutered and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Peter is energetic and smart, which means he thrives with structure and activity. He’s still learning not to pull on the leash, so he’ll need someone willing to continue positive, consistent training. He just completed a 2-week training and showed remarkable improvement proving how smart he is. He’s eager to please and already has a strong foundation—he just needs that extra polish and is willing to continue his basic obedience training.
