Deuce

Hi! My name is Deuce, and I'm a super smart, sweet, gentle, and cuddly Lab mix who loves people and is a total gentleman. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but I warm up quickly and become a big cuddle bug. My favorite things include my stuffed Lambey, any food (especially cheese!), and getting all your attention. I know how to sit, paw, touch, gentle, and down, and I'm always happy to show off these tricks for a tasty snack.

I'm a rockstar on a leash and love walking right by your side. My foster mom says I'm one of the easiest dogs she's ever walked! I'm also a pro at grooming, patiently sitting for nail trims and baths, and handling it all like a champ. While I enjoy making furry friends, I do appreciate a slower introduction to build my confidence. My foster mom affectionately calls me "Lazy Bones" because after some enjoyable walks, I'm perfectly happy heading home for a nap. If you're looking for a perfect family dog who loves fetch, snacks, and cuddles, I think we might be a perfect match!

Training & Support

I am house-trained and know several basic commands, including sit, paw, touch, gentle, and down. I walk well on a leash and am a gentleman during grooming. I would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and slow introductions to build confidence with new friends.
