Meet Lucy! This sweet 1-3 year old, 23-pound pup is the perfect little companion, with floppy ears, soulful eyes, and the gentlest heart. Lucy has already overcome so much; she came into rescue with a severe ear infection that caused a head tilt. Despite her challenges, Lucy has remained loving, trusting, and incredibly brave. She quietly steals your heart, needing little more than a soft place to rest, kind hands to love her, and a family who sees her true specialness. With her sweet expression, she seems to be searching for someone to tell her she's finally safe forever. Imagine her curled up beside you, following you around, or resting her head in your lap. Lucy is ready to give her whole heart, if only someone will love her back.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is currently heartworm positive but is already on the path to recovery. Her heartworm treatment will be fully covered by Wilder Souls Rescue through an approved veterinarian. All dogs with Wilder Souls Rescue receive thorough veterinary care before adoption, including a full health exam, deworming, core vaccines, microchipping, and monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Lucy is looking for a patient and loving home to support her as she continues her recovery and adjusts to her new life.
